  • What is Taste of Muskegon

  • It's a Taste of what Muskegon has to offer, featuring a competition between local restaurants and food trucks for the coveted Taste Plate Awards.

  • Where is it?

  • Downtown Muskegon at Hackley Park. (Between 3rd & 4th Streets and Clay & Webster)

  • What are the dates and hours?

  • Friday, June 7th: 4:30pm – 10pm; Saturday, June 8th: 11am – 10pm

  • Food should be available the whole time. There may be a few vendors who sell out parts or all of their menu early. They effort is made by all to have enough to serve through 10pm both nights. 

  • Kids Zone does close earlier.

  • Where do I park?

  • Taste doesn't have a specific parking area but there are many lots around town within an easy walk to Hackley Park! 

  • How much is it?

  • It is free to enter the festival grounds and to enjoy the concerts. You will need to buy Tasting Tickets in order to purchase food and beverages.

  • Tickets are sold at $1 per ticket. Food is 1-5 tickets per item for "Taste-size" portions and more for full portions. Drinks, including adult beverages, are 4-12 tickets. Be sure to get a wristband at the gate if you plan to drink alcohol!

  • Where can I buy Tasting Tickets?

  • There are ticket booths at all entrances except 3rd and Webster. There will also be a few volunteers walking around selling tickets.

  • Can I use a credit card to buy Tasting Tickets?

  • Yes, we accept credit cards at all ticket booths.

  • Can I bring my pet with me into the festival?

  • No. For your pet's protection and for the public's safety, all animals (except service animals as defined by Michigan law) are restricted from the festivals and you will be asked to leave the festival with your pet.

  • How do I vote for my favorite food?

  • QR codes throughout the festival will be available to scan and vote online. For a paper ballot, visit the blue and white Volunteer tent near 4th and Clay.

  • Can I bring a chair or blanket to the festival?

  • Absolutely! We have picnic tables spread throughout the park but you may want a chair or blanket for the concert.

  • You will have an awesome time!
